Wooo nearly half way through 2024! 

I returned to my home country in May to visit my parents for two weeks, and it was a nice break! However, other things happening in my life slightly impacted my writing progress.
The initial plan was to finish Noah's route and Act 2 by May, but it looks like I'll need to continue this work into June. 

About Noah's route:

Progress on Noah's route was slow in May, partly due to external factors in my personal life, but mostly because it's inherently difficult to write. (seriously, damn.)(´；ω；‘)

Noah's story begins at a rather challenging point—both in terms of plot and character development, and the handling of the relationship between MC& Noah have been particularly tough for me.

In most of Act 1 and Act 2's stories, MC, Edmund, and Hendrix have a tightly intertwined relationship, so their stories always involve each other. It's only when we move into their personal routes that we can somewhat break free from the trio's dynamics (...can we?).

But Noah's story is different, the relationship between MC and Noah -- especially in his route is quite subtle, and this unique relationship hasn't made the emotional development any simpler due to a lot factors. If anything, their relationship feels more like mutual salvation—a failed attempt to save each other, but a successful journey of self-redemption.

I won't go into detail for his route-- to avoid spoilers, but my friend have described Noah's route as a particularly sad story lol. 

Anyway, I personally really like Noah—his route is also connected to the beginning of Act 3, so I want to make sure these two chapters are written as perfectly as possible XD. (After all, they're the last two chapters of Act 2, and I hope to give everyone a memorable ending in the free version for TROT!)

In summary, in May, I completed the revised outline for chapter 7-8. My main goal for June is to diligently finish writing Act 2 and revise them for some edit.

I hope writing goes smoothly in June, as I have many iconic scenes already designed and ready to be presented!
