October | CG Art Coming Soon!


Hello everyone, Cherish here!

I spent all of October for coding Act 2, and only started on the artwork yesterday. I initially thought coding&scripting would take two weeks, but it turned into a whole month!?

The main reason was a bunch of details needing adjustments—expressions, hairstyles, background images, new effects, and so on. Act 2 has a lot of scenes, and every line of dialogue comes with a switch in expressions (maybe that’s just my standard…). So just coding it all took up a lot of my time. Fortunately, I managed to wrap up this work within October!

Now, I've moved on to the artwork. Act 2 will have 40 CGs and 30 small CGs. Given this, I doubt I can finish all the artwork in November (I’ll do my best! But I also know my limits, especially since I also have a full-time job).


As things stand, it looks inevitable that Act 2’s update for TROT will be delayed to early next year (Jan or Feb), along with the Steam page launch. 

But the content is VERY GOOD, trust me >w<


October Progress:

  • Proofreading for Act 2
  • Coding for Act 2
  • Initial testing for Act 2 is done (yes we can run the game now, from begin to end)

November Plans:

  • Trying to finish as much art as possible
  • All remaining artwork adjustments (like fixing some CG from Act 1)


Not much else to say—I’m definitely taking a month-long break after this update!

RAAAHHH I'm super excited for this!! Congrats on the extensive progress!! Coding and scripting for a whole month is INSANE. I sure hope you get a good rest after 😭
